What is the craziest thing you've ever done?

"While in the military, I borrowed a large bulldozer during a joint military exercise. I managed to get it stuck in the middle of a protected wooded swamp adjacent to the Chesapeake Bay. My commanding officer decided, instead of airlifting the dozer out, he would have me hand-dig it out overnight. After 12 hours of digging, the dozer was free. To my surprise, I was not demoted."
