Delta Dental of Virginia - 2025 Refresh

Delta Dental purchased an existing facility in Roanoke to house over 300 employees. A full interior and exterior renovation transformed the 1970’s office building into an open and collaborative office environment giving the company a clean, contemporary, corporate image.

The design focused on bringing natural light into the building’s core as well as creating collaboration spaces. The interior renovations included a two-story atrium with large skylight, open break areas, a cafe, large fitness room, and multiple casual conference spaces. The extensive use of interior storefront helped to carry natural light throughout.

In 2025, Delta required renovations to incorporate the full leadership team and refresh the existing spaces. Glass front offices were sensitively added to maintain the open office environment while providing privacy for leadership. New lighting and colorful acoustic baffles promoted increased employee wellbeing. Lively new carpet and paint schemes refreshed the spaces, while still coordinating perfectly with the existing furniture.
